The Pastor and people of South
Heights
Baptist Church extend to you a warm invitation to be their very special
guest at one of our next services!
We strive to make the Bible and its teachings the center of all that we
do here at South Heights Baptist Church. To this end, we provide Sunday
School classes for all ages every week. In addition to our weekly Bible
studies, we offer special classes, seminars, and retreats throughout
each
calendar year.
Our Pastor preaches through
books
in
the Bible in verse-by-verse, expositional fashion. This manner of
preaching
allows emphasis on the practical application of the principles for
living
found in the Word of God. The result of this type of study is a
stronger
Christian walk for those who attend regularly and apply what they learn.
The atmosphere at South Heights
Baptist
Church
is informal and loving. We believe Christ died for the entire world,
not
just a select few. Therefore, we welcome all to come worship and serve
the Lord with us here, no matter what their class, income, status, age,
or race.
Our church provides a Nursery for
children
ages
three and under. Our workers are cheerful, and watch over the little
ones
with the utmost care and diligence. If you have nursery age children,
ask
one of our greeters to escort you to the Nursery when you arrive.
