Preaching Ministry

    At South Heights Baptist Church in Sapulpa, we strive to make the Bible and its teachings the center of all that we do.

    After salvation, the most important thing that a person can do is to get to know God through His Word. The careful study and application of the principles for life contained in the Bible is essential for the spiritual well-being of everyone. In a world of tremendous uncertainty, the Word of God is an anchor that is steadfast and sure. Our Pastor preaches through books in the Bible in verse-by-verse, expositional fashion. This manner of preaching allows emphasis on the practical application of the principles for living found in the Word of God. The result of this type of study is a stronger Christian walk for those who attend.

    In our Sunday church services, we focus on the verse-by-verse study of various books of the Bible. Our Pastor is now preaching through the Book of Nehemiah on Sunday mornings at 10:50, the Gospel of Mark on Sunday evenings at 6:30, and the Book of Genesis on Wednesday evenings at 7:00. These studies are conducted in expositional fashion with emphasis on practical application of the truths of Scripture to our daily lives.
